MyMiniFactory

MyMiniFactory is one of the largest platforms in the 3D model market, with millions of visits every month.

One of my initial tasks as the UX Manager of the company was to align the front page with e-commerce standards and define how we highlight creators and items according to the new company’s new creator tier system.

The front page features an extensive list of items from different pools that are regularly changed to optimise discovery. Unlike the curated top banner, this selection is automated and to some extent randomised, providing fair exposure for all the site’s creators. More importantly, it offers a good overview of what’s new and trending, which is in line with customer expectations.
